	History of Ski East
	Ski East was formed in 1995 by a small group of like-minded skiers with over 20 years experience in organising and operating school and group ski holidays. Having been disappointed, misled and let down by a number of major ski operators it was felt that we were capable of providing a superior service ourselves. Ski East uses only carefully selected, fully inspected, resorts, accommodation and facilities. Ski East offers a total ski package at what we consider to be a very competitive price.

	Skiing and Snowboarding - The complete Package!
	Snow Guarantee In the unlikely event of poor snow in the resort, Ski East will arrange skiing at a nearby glacier resort Ski Pass Full pass for all runs and use of ski bus in resort Equipment Hire Ski East provides hire of skis, boots, poles, snowboards and other related equipment. Ski East also offers the hire of complete ski clothing package in conjunction with Snowsun Ipswich Ltd. Tuition All tuition is by Austrian/French Ski School. All instructors are fully qualified and speak good English. Instruction is 2*2 hour sessions per day. On the penultimate day's skiing pupils can compete in races and win awards. Note that lessons are provided at group prices based on one instructor to twelve pupils. Persons travelling on free places do not count in determining the ratio of 1:12 instructors to pupils. You may at your own discretion, vary the size of groups to take into account uneven group sizes casued by varying ski standards. Estra ski instructors are available at an extra charge. Lunches A hot meal is provided each day on the mountain. A hot meal is also provided prior to the return journey to the UK.

	Transport Arrangements
	Transfer from your school/home to resort by fully equipped modern coach, providing reclining seats, toilet and washroom facilities, hot and cold drinks, video facility, comprehensive heating and ventilation. All coaches are fully insured and covered by European emergency back-up facilities. All drivers are fully experienced in continental touring with a minimum of five years service. Journeys are completed by the shortest and most direct routes including short sea crossings for your convenience.

	Accommodation
	Accommodation is provided in good quality hotels which offer: 2/3/4 bedded rooms with en suite facilities (Twin Bedded for staff) Buffet breakfast Four course evening meal Apres ski room facilities Boot/ski room (heated)

	Snowsun Ski Discount Card
	Ski group organisers using the clothes hire facilities of Snow Sun, Ipswich will receive a Ski East / Snow Sun discount card. This entitles the group organiser to purchase any items from Snowsun at a 10% discount.

	Inspection Visit
	A limited number of places are available at February half-term and Easter for Inspection visits. There is a charge of £400 per person for the party leader and £500 for additional places on these visits. The party leaders holiday costs are refundable in the event of a group booking for the following season.

	Guarantee with Ski East
	In accordance with "The Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations 1992" all passengers booking with Ski East Ltd are fully insured for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to us, including repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Ski East Ltd. A certificate detailing this cover will be given to each and every passenger as evidence of cover. Please ensure that you have been given the appropriate certificates at the time of booking. This insurance has been arranged by Towergate Chapman Stevens through igi Insurance Company Limited.
